Maria del Carmen Uceda, CEO & Co-founder
Maria del Carmen Uceda is a nationally recognized expert on Latino health outreach and the integration of faith-based approaches to health and wellbeing. She has over 25 years of experience as a Latino healthcare marketing consultant and nonprofit leadership. Maria del Carmen has developed trusted brands for Latinos through her health conferences, retreat and online outreach and education.
During her professional career she has worked with Lake Pointe Medical Center, the Hogg Foundation of Mental Health, Parkland Hospital, Dallas Concilio of Hispanic Service Organizations, Methodist Hospital, Timberlawn Mental Health Hospital, the Consulate General of Mexico in Dallas, the Mental Health Association of Dallas, and Dallas Medical Center. At the national level she co-chaired the faith-based learning cluster for SAMHSA, and was part of the Advisory Board for Children’s Beyond ABC.
Jesus Gras, COO & Co-founder
Jesus Gras has over 20 years of experience in business management and as a consultant. He was a cofounder of SBD Spanish Book Distributor, a Top 5 wholesaler, and has consulted for several startups and healthcare organizations. An industrial and systems engineer with a Masters in Engineering, Jesus specialized in project management and logistics with an emphasis in social concerns and healthcare. Over the years he has edited and written several books and curricula on health and family matters.

Dr. Mark DeHaven, PhD: VIdas Sanas Chief Scientific Officer. Dr. DeHaven has been building community health improvement and community-based research capacity in the United States and globally for more than two decades. Since 1994, he has been developing a comprehensive model of community medicine for reducing chronic disease in underserved and high-risk communities. He was also the founding executive director of the University of North Texas, Texas Prevention Institute, and was awarded the President’s Award in 2006 from the North American Primary Care Research Group (NAPCRG), the world’s leading primary care research organization.
Dr. Christopher Crow: As a recognized leader in the healthcare industry, Dr. Christopher Crow helped develop one of the most innovative patient-centered practice models in the country. Dr. Crow is recognized as one of Dallas’ best family medicine physicians by D Magazine, the Texas Academy of Family Physicians, Texas Monthly and the Dallas Business Journal. He also played an instrumental role in the creation of Project Access Collin County (PACC).
Kevin Briggs: Kevin has over 15 years of experience in digital health solutions. He managed enterprise healthcare client relationships for IBM Healthcare and is currently developing partnerships in telemedicine, remote patient monitoring, and population health with HCL. He has a love for serving the community and is the founder of Texas de Peru, a medical mission organization.
Gary Galindo: He is an experienced motivation, sales and marketing leader. In his over 30 years of experience he has developed expertise in training and motivating women and men on customer care. He has been in charge of large sales groups that include over 60,000 women.
